The Food Trust offers its programs free of charge to participants. The cost of each program for the Food Trust (or other host organizations) is not addressed; however, most programs are held in community spaces likely free of charge. Costs to cover might include materials for education, cooking supplies, food, etc.

[the Food Trust] empower[s] adults and youth living in lower-income communities with the tools and knowledge needed to make healthier eating choices on a limited budget and lead more physically active lifestyles. Through cooking, eating together, sharing recipes and ideas for healthier eating and being physically active, participants change their shopping, preparation methods and food choices to be healthier."

This program in particular has not been reviewed. However, the Food Trust has been successful and positively reviewed on many of its various other programs, including collaboration with state governments and commendation by Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and the Obama Administration
