  • The current prohibition policy for marijuana has failed. The monetary expenditure of marijuana enforcement is costly and burden's the fiscal system on the Local, State, and Federal level. Decriminalization of marijuana would De-prioritize law enforcements focus/resources towards minor possession of marijuana while reducing the housing/monetary strain on the Dept. of Corrections.  
  • Current Marijuana laws cost around 42 billion dollars in a fiscal year to maintain and cause no meaningful decrease of marijuana use.
