An unknown number of local ordinances affect the ways in which Lorain County residents can raise food on their lots.  In some cases, these laws are inhibiting food production.  The Lorain County Food Policy Research Project is undertaking a study of each municipality in Lorain County that will detail the current food-related policies on the books.  This information will be made available in a centralized location and an accessible format for people who need it.

Create a publicly accessible document that details the current food-related policies on the books in Lorain County, then follow up by introducing the research in such a way that will facilitate the process for anyone wanting to review or change the laws that positively or negatively shape the transition to a local food economy.
