During the year, they manage an after school program for students, and during the summer they provide a youth program.  
    • Lexington City Schools: Lexington City Schools provide education to students who live in and near Lexington City. The district is comprised of one elementary school and one middle school. For high school, students who previously attended city schools will attend Rockbridge County High School.
    • Rockbridge County Schools: Rockbridge County Schools educates the students of the greater Rockbridge County, including Buena Vista. The system is comprised of three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Lexington City students also attend Rockbridge County High School.

Additionally, they work with schools to provide a Backpack Program for students and run a mobile food pantry 
    • Rockbridge Area Relief Association (RARA): The Rockbridge Area Relief Association works to end hunger in Lexington as well as the greater Rockbridge Area by maintaining a client-choice food pantry as well as a helpline that helps prevent evictions and utility cutoffs. 
      • The Community Table: The Community Table "seeks to relieve hunger while building community in Lexington, Buena Vista, and Rockbridge County of Virginia. We serve everyone regardless of the ability to donate." The organization offers dinner on Mondays as well as Wednesday lunch for anyone in the community to enjoy.
