- The Trenton Free Public Library is one of the oldest libraries in New Jersey. Originating in 1750 as a subscription library by Thomas Cadwalader, Benjamin Franklin purchased its first fifty books. The library is the second oldest free public library in the United States after Franklin’s own Philadelphia Free Public Library.

- City of Trenton: Many of Trenton’s residents are economically challenged with median per capita income 37% below the median income in the United States. Over 21% of the population is below the poverty level compared with 8.5% of the U.S. as a whole. The 2000 U.S. Census shows the population to be 52% Black or African American; 21% Hispanic or Latino; and the remainder white or other.

- Jazz-Trenton: The Jazz Disciples is a group of men and women who care about the performance of real jazz in greater Mercer County, and especially in the City of Trenton. led by Larry hilton, the group supports live jazz performances year round. Currently, we produce live jazz most Saturdays at the Candlelight Lounge in Trenton. the Jazz Disciples are also responsible for Programming the "Real Jazz Night" at the Trenton Jazz Festival, and other events throughout the year.

- STARS: The South Trenton Area Residents' Society is a civic organization designed to foster a clean, safe, prosperous, peaceful, and equitable neighborhood with a vibrant and diverse community of home owners, renters, and business owners.
- Diocese of Trenton-Migration and Refugee Services:The Office of Migration and Refugee Services fulfills the Gospel mandate to welcome the stranger and it furthers the Church's commitment to newcomers. Paraphrasing the Mission Statement of the Diocese, "within our rich diversity…we reach out in love and service to all, ever striving to advance the cause of justice and peace."
