Scope of the Problem  

Washburn University does not currently posses a policy or program regarding the support or adequate resource information for non-traditional students.  Non-traditional students face many specific challenges that need to be addressed and supported by the University.  In 2009 Non-traditional students comprise 32.7% of the Washburn University population [1] .

Past Policy  

• Upon research, there has been no policy instituted for the support of non-traditional students at Washburn. 

Current Policy  

• There is currently no policy or program in place to support non-traditional students at Washburn.
